My Top 3 Articles
My favourite three articles are:
1.Stop Telephoning Meh written by Kenzie. The reason this is one of my favorites is because as someone who struggles with social anxiety, I know the feeling of feeling anxious from a phone call. Recently I had went through an episode where I refused to make a phone call because I was too nervous.
2. How To Cope With Semi-Homophobic Parents In The Closet by written by Mackenzie. Coming out is a very scary experience (one in which I have not partaken in yet), and everything that Mackenzie described as her situation in the article relates back to me. It's nice knowing I'm not alone in this situation.
3. Loving Myself written by Elizabeth. Most of my life I have struggled with viewing myself in a positive manner. I always talked down to myself, becoming my biggest bully. I would criticize everything I do and stare at myself in the mirror, barely recognizing who was staring back. Coming to love myself is a long journey and reading this article has helped me see that I am not alone and many other teenagers feel the same way.
