GauriWriterHi! My name is Gauri. I am currently a high school student going into my senior year. My hobbies include writing, photography, graphic design, and playing sports, such as badminton and volleyball. I love listening to different types of music and following my favorite artists and bands. In my spare time I read books, do some volunteering, give back to the community, and of course, write!

My Top 3 Articles
1. 'Stop telephoning meh' - I really liked this article because it was extremely relatable for me. Going on the phone, whether if it was speaking to someone or calling someone, is a job that stresses me out. I would always find one excuse or another to avoid doing it, and this article was reassuring in the sense of not being entirely alone when experiencing this. In addition, it also provides ways of dealing with it, which is extremely helpful the next time I have a phone call.
2. 'Third wheel friend' - Being the third wheel friend is something I experienced in middle school. As an individual who values fairness and sees it as an utmost priority in friendships, it's hard to see others who twist your values, especially if they are your friends. This article gave me tremendous insight and contradicted my opinion to solve the problem. While I spent my days being quiet about the problem and simply 'letting it go', the writer tells us to speak up and tell them about our feelings. I admired this advice and will take it to my heart if I experience a scenario like this in the future.
3. 'What my first year of university taught me' - This article will surely be a lifesaver! As a senior in high school, preparing for university can be stressful, not solely in applications, but getting read for the campus life as well. However I feel like many(including me!)do not realize the struggles of the latter until they actually have to cook, do the dishes, fold laundry on their own. I really likes this article as it would definitely prepare me to face harsh realities of living alone by eliminating false expectations as a whole.
