Insomnia isn't a thing to be taken lightly. It's really hard. I have insomnia and I'm sat here at 5:53 in the morning writing articles because I can't sleep.
People joke around about it like omg I'm up at midnight I must have insomnia. This bugs me so much. NO! Insomnia is not being able to sleep even though you are so tired. Insomnia is trying so hard to sleep but not being able to.
The main causes of insomnia are:
If you have insomnia, please seek help from a gp or councillor because it can cause some serious problems. It can mess up your mentality and your body can also go weird because it's lost lots of energy and and it's not gained any like it usually would whilst your asleep.
Ways you can treat/prevent insomnia:
1)drink warm milk before bed.
This is a proven method that helps lots of people. Doctors tend to advise younger clients to do this if they are to young to take pills.
Sleeping pill or medicine such as night nurse or niquil are given to prevent loss of sleep to paicents mostly over the age of 13.
3)get into a routine.
If you have a routine like have a bath and read for 30 minuets, it is proven to help your sleep patern.
