My Top 3 Articles
- Dealing with Death By Kenzie - This article is so honest about death and how it makes you feel. I lost my Aunty to a tragic road accident when I was 5 and my Grancher to a variety of illnesses when I was 14. Both was so hard to deal with but I was so lucky to have my friends and family around me and I was able to honour them by talking about them. I wrote a letter to my Aunty and read it at her grave. It was so therapeutic and helped me a lot. I would recommend this article to everyone and I would definitely follow the advice. It doesn't stop it form hurting, nothing does, but it makes it less painful.
- Respecting over Cultures By Sarah - This article is so fresh and it encourages you to open yourself up to the world and it's many cultures. Society is well known for misguiding us when it comes to understanding other cultures. There is a strong and unjust belief that what is different is wrong and therefore often judged. It is so fresh to see an article encouraging people to stop seeing terrorists as Muslims as we don't see the KKK as Christians. It really does give some food for thought.
- Period Pain By Kenzie - It is so rare to see an article so honest and open about period pains. I always feel so awkward talking about it in fear I will making others uncomfortable with the nature of women's bodies. Ridiculous, I know! I have just started yoga and I am yet to see if this works, or helps, but cutting out caffeine and sugar really helps me. I substitute as much as much caffeinated drinks with water. I love that TWE are so open and honest about such Taboo subjects.
