Asking For Help

20/8/2016

"I feel like I'm drowning, but the life guard won't notice"

Sometimes you can't ask for help:
"Am I attention seeking?"
"Am I making it up?"
"What if they laugh at me?"

Stop!
1. You're not and even if you were, it's okay to ask for attention if you're suffering.
2. You are probably not making it up! If you feel a certain way about something it's probably true.
3. They won't laugh at you! Ask the right people depending on your situation, if you feel like you're suffering from depression ask a counselor, if you are having feelings towards someone of the same sex but aren't sure, ask someone who knows!

Asking for help is   okay!

You are   important  and you need to know things so you can   help yourself!
You are not attention seeking! Asking for help is not attention seeking!
You are looking out for number one and that's you! Don't ever let someone put you down for seeking help. No matter if you are overcoming a mental illness, harming yourself or finding out who you are.

You deserve to be happy and more importantly,

You deserve to be you.
