You know what really sucks? Your best friend living thousands of miles away.
Around two years ago, I met a girl called Alex on Instagram. We both had accounts that had pretty sad posts on and I messaged her and asked her if she was okay and that if she needed to talk I would always be here. She replied and we started a conversation. We messaged each other pretty much every day but it always took so long for us both to reply because she was in America and I was in England. There are 3,826 miles between us and it was horrid. We keep in touch everyday through kik and Instagram and Facebook and snapchat. Social media will become your best friend when you have Internet friends.
She is always there for me and I'm always there for her. We do sometimes go a day without talking but no matter how long we go, we just pick up where we left off. I can always talk to her about anything. These are the best thing about having an Internet Best friend.
The bad things are the fact that whenever you want to hug them or have a sleepover or go shopping. You can't.
But don't worry, at the end of the day there's only a plane ride between you both and one day, you will break the distance.
