Peer pressure really sucks.
Been there, done that, got the marks to prove it. Especially when it's something you have been told your whole life to avoid.
Things you mum and dad told you to never go near. Stuff like smoking, drinking, drugs.
Things that could screw up your lives forever.
I had a really bad experience with peer pressure. After school, I went to my friend’s boyfriend’s house and he had a friend round. My friend...we will call her Sash.... went upstairs with her boyfriend, leaving me with this guy. Let's call him Aiden.
Sash and her boyfriend were obviously having sex and we could hear it. Aiden turns and looks at me and kisses me. I push off right away but he is consistent. He says "C'mon don't be a pussy! What are you a virgin?" I say nothing and then he says "Oh I see. You are. Well I can help you with that." I push off and go and sit on the other couch. He goes on and on about me being soft and scared. But you know what? I didn’t have sex with him and I turned out just fine. No one found out. No one knew it ever happened.
Seriously, if anyone ever tries to pressure you into anything you don't want to do, don't do it. It's not worth it.
